The doctor tells Ling that the master's life force has completely dried out, and that she has only a tiny amount of it left to prevent her death. Ling blames himself for this, but he promises to find a way to cure her in the central area. He says that he still has some business to deal with, even though he can't cure her there. Ling is furious, and says that since he killed his father, he'll kill his sister in front of him. He's already said that he won't spare her, and now he wants her and her father both dead.
