This chapter opens with the flying of the "wyvern puppet" into the sky. The narrator tells us that the puppet is the "sacred guardian beast of the blood devil emperor" and that it has lived for 50,000 years. He and the others are shocked to find that the "road of trial takers" is now the ruins of the sixth rank sect.
