About This Chapter
In the middle of the night, Huck wakes up to find that someone has finally found him. He's not sure why Huck was so excited to find him, but he thinks it's because Huck's brother is looking so much like Huck. Huck tells Huck that his brother is mute, and Huck can't understand why Huck would suddenly get up and spill all of his fish soup on the floor. Huck says that he's glad that Huck has so much time left before he dies, because Huck doesn't get to taste the food any more. Huck then tells Huck about the servant, who was last seen in the city a month ago. Huck asks Huck to sing a song about the yellow swan, which is a bird that's seen only in the reeds and eats the lilies.
