About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that patti has joined the holy knights, and that he has joined them because he wants to "clean up the battlefield" . He tells us that if he hadn't joined the knights, he would have ended patti immediately the last time he met him. He says that he still has the face of the man who killed him last time, but that he doesn't hope that luck will be the same this time. He also says that if it weren't for the old geezer's help, he wouldn't have killed all of them. He asks if they're surrounded, and says that they can only fight if they stop talking and run away. He's going to borrow his blood and use it to kill them. They're not running away, he says, because he's asking them not to. He blames himself for this, and he says that the two are his prey, and if they don't leave, he'll just keep watch. He wants to know if they can escape, but they'll have to run away from under the water. He reminds us that they are no strangers, but he knows that they will die in the same way. He then asks if she's stronger than she was when they last met, and she says that she is. Then he asks if he can kill her faster, so that he can "prick hundreds of holes" into her, and then he asks why she has to dodge so he can rip her to shreds.
