About This Chapter
This chapter opens with a flashback to the beginning of the previous chapter, where we learn that the holy knights are now living in a mansion in the middle of nowhere. The narrator tells us that this is where they've been settling down. He asks if there's still a need for them to continue their mission, and if they're doing well. He says that he still considers them an ally of the knights, and that's why he came to find them. He also says that the knights still want them to be their "thugs," and that they don't understand the human heart. He tells the narrator that he's afraid that they can't work together, because their goals aren't the same, and their ways of achieving them are different. He warns the knights that they shouldn't be coming to the mansion anymore, since their friends won't like to be disturbed. He reminds them that whenever they want to fight, they must show their spirit, and he says that they should kill the miller to finish their job.
