In the gymnasium courtyard of the school building, Aizusa and her classmates are testing their courage by going to the shrine to see if they can pass the test. Azusa tells her that her older sister, who lives in the same dorm as her, often tells her stories of ghostly apparitions. When she hears voices, she runs outside to find her father, who has come to check on her. He finds that she has passed the test, and she tells him that she is going home to get rid of the ghost.
