About This Chapter
It's six years since the girls met, and they've been living together for six years. They're both nervous to see each other, but they're happy to be back together. They talk about their school days, and how different it was when they were younger. When they were little, no one was home, so they'd buy things at the convenience store, but when they got to middle school and high school, they had to go to the grocery store to get things. Now, when she's living with her mom, she doesn't have to buy anything at the store. She's happy to see them, and she invites them to visit anytime. She tells them that she'll be moving into a boarding house in a few days.
