The boss tells Miss Green that he knows about her family's hospital stay, but he didn't tell her in front of her co-workers. Miss Green apologizes, but the boss tells her that she can leave now, and he'll give her a chance to do so. The boss says that Miss Green's singing is good, and that she'll have lots of fans if she releases a new album. He tells her to give him the money quickly, because if she doesn't, he's going to smash her guitar. He says that he won't be able to play the guitar if he can't give her the money. He warns her that if she tries to beat him up, he will beat her up too, and she should get out of his way. He's got a broker's contract that's about to expire, so he hasn't decided if to renew it. He asks Miss Green if she'd like to be his artist, or if he'd prefer her to spend money on him, but Miss Green has a good face and a good figure. She says that she would rather be her boyfriend, because she's not strong enough to be Miss Green. She tells him that there aren't many artists in his company now, so why don1t she like him? If he is her artist, she will be liked by many people, he says, and so he can pay her.
