The next morning, Bingyan wakes up in the middle of the night. He's been drinking heavily, and he's worried about his sister. He wants to know if they're safe, if they have food, and who's in the room with them. Bingyan tells his sister that he doesn't want to leave her side. He tells her that he'll never see her again, because she's too small and inferior to be of any use to him.
