In this chapter, we're told that if we wanted to go out with someone else, we would have done it with another friend. We're also told that the city is dangerous, but that's just the way it is. We also learn that this is the first time we've ever seen a man in a uniform, and that it's a big deal in the medical community. Youngblood asks Youngblood if he can save his foolishness after work when he's not in uniform, but Youngblood says he can't, because he has to wear a uniform to work. He also says that he'll never call Youngblood "youngblood" again, since Youngblood is always going to be older than he is, and he doesn't want to be one of those guys. He tells Youngblood to make a wish, and Youngblood promises that it will come true.
