It's the night of the ball, and everyone's having a good time. Everyone's super excited about the wine they're supposed to be drinking, which is called "pearl wine" because it's made from the "pearl spring," the ancient spring in the middle of nowhere. Everyone seems to be having a great time, except for the princess, who's totally freaking out. She can't figure out where the duke's fancy pets are, and she's freaking out because there's a lot of empty guest rooms on the floor. She's so freaking out that she can barely move.
