About This Chapter
In the middle of the night, the young master is busy preparing for the departure of his family to the mercy palace. He's worried that the war will be delayed because of the loss of some of the palace's core power, such as the sword troop and the hyo-saeng troop. He wants to show the master his cooking skills, but he can't find him. The young master asks if he's planning to leave, and the master tells him that he'll give him permission to do so if he can show him how to use the dawn-wind sword, which is one of the swords in the family's symbol. The master tells the master that he sparred with his older brother earlier this year, and that the result was his defeat. He says that he doesn't want his sons to lose against him again this year. The younger master is excited to receive the sword, but the master says that the older brother can still use the other two weapons, the wind sword and the dawn sword, to its full potential.
