About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the tomboy wu is going to make her move, and that the highness of the Ming family will reward her for her efforts. The Ming family offers the tomboy a drink of their favorite drink, the Yutangchun, and she accepts. She tells us that she doesn't know why she's acting this way, but she does wonder if she is really smart or just acting like she is. She wonders if the noblewoman is in love with the Ming man, but that she has helped him instead of humiliating him. The noblewoman tells the Ming that he's arrived, and the two of them have no need of formalities. She says that she'll keep her distance from the Ming in the future, and then she says that the Ming is holding a grudge because she didn't come to visit him for a few days. She's the one who keeps snatching the drink, she tells us. The preys are domesticated livestock, she says, and they're no fun to hunt at all. Why is she dragging her into the quarrel
