About This Chapter
In the meantime, we learn that the three knights have all been wounded in the battle, and that one of them, tristan, has inherited the curse from the goddess of healing. The others, however, do not seem to have much of a reaction to this news, and they all laugh at the idea that they might have to ask their mother or father for help. The three knights try to figure out what's going on, but they can't figure out why they're all so upset. They blame each other, and tristan blames himself for the whole thing. He tells them that he's the only one who's been able to heal them all, and he blames them all for making him feel like a total failure. He says that if he were stuck with this for the rest of his life, he'd never be able to become a knight again. He also says that the other knights should have known about the coffin fragment, which was taken by one of their allies, and should have told him about it when he was gone. He then tells them about his father's recent conversation with his father, in which he was told that the coffin had been taken by an ally, who had contacted his father about it, and told him that it was his fault for not telling him sooner. Tristan then tells the others that he is one of the four knights from the Apocalypse, which is the Greek god of healing and healing the body. He's also a member of the Apocalypse like Percival, who was the one who led them all to the Crusades, and who is also a part of the prophecy community.
