Back on board the ship, Paulina and the rest of the crew are getting ready to go back to the mainland. They're bummed that they didn't make it back in time to rescue the prisoners, but they're determined to make it to the bottom of the valley. They don't know how to navigate the maze, so they'll have to figure out a way to get down there. They eat some meat from the belly of the ship and plan to use it to climb down to the top of the mountain, where they can see the valley from a higher vantage point
