About This Chapter
The ship's captain, brno, comes to the rescue of the Oboro Casca. He tells the crew that the ship is in dire straits and that they must find a way to get the owner to pay for repairs. He also tells them that they can use the money they find to fix the ship. The two men go off to look for amber gris, a valuable mineral that can be used to repair a ship. When they return, they find that the folds on the ship are the folds of a lizard. They wonder if the lizard is related to a dwarf dragon, the salamandra. They also wonder if there is a classification system for the different types of dragons. They discuss the possibility of volcanoes. They decide to draw the lizard to see if they can find more where it came from.
