About This Chapter
The Parlia Mentary Army's commander, Martierta, arrives on the ship. Martierta tells the Parlia men that he once met Martierta in the palace after Martierta's mother's death, when Martierta was kept away from public view. After Martierta died and Martierta lost her mother, she was kept in exile from the royal palace, but Martierta tried to put her past behind her, and he knew that he would have to return to the palace one day, unable to swallow or cough up the pain of his past.
