The next morning, the Governess tries to cheer herself up. She's worried about her teacher, who's having a nightmare about alice's dreams. The Governess apologizes for what she said yesterday, but she's not done yet. She says she'll try to apologize for not being a good student the last time she went to school, and then apologize for being a bad student the first time. She doesn't want to be a bad teacher, though, and she'd rather be a good teacher than a bad Governess. Okay, so maybe you shouldn't be so bad a student, but we're guessing you're not a good Governess, either. Anyway, she apologizes to her teacher and then goes off to work on her dolls.
