About This Chapter
The chapter opens with a description of a little boy who has come to live among the people who have taken him in as a child. The boy's unique gift for sorcery is more important to him than his unique circumstances. As the boy grows, he meets those who seek to use his power for their own benefit. He learns stronger and stronger, and no one can claim to be better than him. He is willing to sacrifice everything to obtain what he wants. He asks the narrator if he can help him find a book he is looking for. The narrator says he would love to help him search for the book, but he is afraid that his other self will see him and take a picture of him. When the narrator leaves the room, he asks the pitter to have his head. The pitter says he is the salt to the pepper, and that he is not even there to tell. He tells the narrator that he has been looking for a book for a long time, but has not heard from Hiiragizawa since he came to visit. When she opened the book in the library, she found that it was the book she had brought with her from Hiromaga, and when she opened it, she saw that the book was the one Hiromagizawa had given her as a gift. She told her father that she would be shown around the library. When her father came to see her, he told her that he would help her self, so she left the room. She tells him that she had come to the library because her father had brought her there, and she had found the book and Hiromago's card collection there. He had told her to apologize for her mess, but she told him to look at all the books in the archaeology hop, which she had been searching for for. He says he had never been good at anything, so he thought he
