He wants to give Hiromasu a good impression, and he wants to do it in a way that doesn't upset him. He tells the story of the battle, which he says was "a truly vast battle, in scale" . He asks if they're bound to one another, and they both admit that they haven't seen each other in a long time. He also asks if the woman is his friend as well, and she says she hasn't met him yet, but she's on his list. He thanks her for coming, and says he will "slash up anything in their way"
