The chapter opens with a description of a walking air freshener. It's a special skill that's only available at the beginning of battle. The air freshener boosts a person's strength and dexterity for a short period of time, but then it's gone. The person can only use it for a few seconds at a time, so they have to wait for the air freshener to build up again before they can use it again. The guy is a bit worried that he's going to be killed, but he doesn't think he'll be. He's already beaten the "ultimate swordsman and horse combo" , so he thinks this isn't a big deal. He thinks the guy should have a light splash so they can follow it up. He also thinks he can hit the guy real hard. He calls it his "rabbit gun" . He can't wait to give the guy back his master's sword, which he thinks is rusted and dull. He wonders if he can sell it and bring it back to life in time. He tells the guy that they're looking for the "Inner Canyon of Ancient Souls" and that there are a bunch of nasty crystal scorpions there. He says he'd like to get a look at them, but that he can only take them if they find him.
