Back on the battlefield, Ren tells Asadaka that they're going to put arms on him so they can hunt down the blue demon. Ashidaka is bummed that he's going to have to use his mom's arms, but Ren reminds him that those arms are a memento from his mother, so they shouldn't be a threat to him. He's also bummed that they won't use his own arms, since he hasn't been able to get to the edge of the battlefield in a long time. But Ren reassures him that he can still do a lot with his arms, and he'll be able to chase down the demon with his own.
