The four demons, kaka, wort demon, and daylily, enter. kaka tells them that he is a sunflower demon who has to endure pain every day in order to give his essence to the wicked woman. He has become bald, but he has not gotten stronger, because the woman has made him live with flies, mosquitoes and toads. He says that the things that they have told him are not enough to kill the evil woman. The other demons ask him what he called the evil man, and he says that it must be the same man they met at the beginning of the story. He then says that they will meet him today.
