In this short scene, we learn that Eun-Ji and Yon-Seon are in love. Eun-Jung's mother died before she could get past her sorrow, and she hid it from her family, so that they wouldn't know about her illness. Yon-Seng's father was contacted immediately, and he was the only person who was waiting for her at home. She apologizes to him, and says she'll never see him again.
