In this chapter, Mizumori recalls his first year at high school, when he was a member of the school's basketball team. He is very happy to see his old friend, who has not been in contact with him for nine years. Mizu says that he is honored that his cousin has come to visit him, as he is like a different person from his cousin, who attended school with him. He says that his high school life is full of smiles and tears, and that his friendship with his friend is the reason he has decided to become a teacher. Mizumimori says that if he had not met his senior, he would not have been able to pursue his dream of becoming a comedian. He also says that Mizu's birthday is on October 25 and that he has made Mizu look at his yearbook to see if he would like to see it for reference.
