The narrator asks why he joined the class again. He wants to know if the teacher is a genius. The narrator tells him that it's hard for him to stop thinking about him, because he's loved him for so long. He doesn't think he'll ever be able to forget him. He just thinks that he has never had the chance to do so. He's never been able to do that, he says, because there's nobody else he particularly likes. He asks if he can be the replacement for hyung, and the narrator says that he can't be thinking of him as a replacement. He says he won't ask for a warranty from the teacher, and that he'd rather earn money working for a living than be thinking about hyung as his replacement. The teacher tries to calm him down, but the narrator is too upset to listen. He tells the teacher that he loves him, but that he shouldn't worry about strange things. He and the teacher have always known each other, and he says that they might get there sooner than he thinks.
