The narrator explains that he is confused because his friend and his brother have become so close. He tells us that the first time he found out about his brother's relationship with his friend, he ran away from the truth, and as he pretended not to know, he forgot about it with time. He gave the two men the chance to get alone, and he thought they did well. Something happened to them as soon as he came in, and the narrator says that his friend's reaction to the incident with hyung was like a "baby sheep" . He says that if something happens to cause hyung to discover his physical accident, the only thing that can happen is that he disappears and dies. The narrator says he doesn't think he's unfortunate. He wonders why he didn't make the two of them get together earlier, and why he feels bad when it happens. He asks himself why he left them alone, when he could have just let them walk together instead. He admits that he could've let his friend walk with him that time too, but he must have just gotten flustered over nothing. He weeps when he realizes that she's planning on helping his friend. She admits that she is not okay, and she hates everything.
