In this chapter, we learn that the girl is in love with the boy, but that she doesn't want to tell him about it. She's afraid that if he finds out, he'll think she's lying. The girl tells the boy that she wants to go home and eat some spicy rice cake, but the boy insists that he's not a man, so she should try harder in soccer. The boy, however, is convinced that he is, and he mocks the girl for saying that she is a man.
