The next day, the fashion group's assistant, Yufei, comes to tell Lan that one of the models has a wardrobe malfunction and needs to be brought to the office. He tells Lan that he is the one who stole the design, and Lan is shocked. He asks Yufei to come and tell him what is going on, and the assistant tells him that he was in his office handling work before the party, and that Yufei might have mistaken him for someone else. The assistant then tells the story of how he called Lan and asked if he could let Yufei into the office, and how he received no calls from him, nor did he call any models to find him. He also tells the assistant that if there is a problem, then he should come out and tell it, and they will handle it. Lan is surprised that the assistant would do such a thing, and wonders why he would think he would play favorites. Two days later, however, the incident comes to a halt.
