Back at the school, momo scolds shuyuan for trying to force her to share her honor with him. The vice-principal tells momo that the essay is a competition and that the winner has to share it with other students. But momo doesn't understand why the prize is being given to a student who has no chance to win it. She also asks if the professor actually invited Mingmei to come and talk to her about the essay. The professor agrees to the condition, but momo is still worried about what other students will think of her. Mingmei is already in the dormitory, and momo can't figure out how to let her go. She tells the assistant to help her take care of Mingmei.
