About This Chapter
The monk tells the prince that he's been having a bad time lately, and that he needs to get his mind back on track. He says that the source of chaos is silence, and if human beings can keep a "calm heart," heaven and earth "will merge together." The monk asks if the lady has a "peace-ful mind," which is led by lust, or if her mind is "muddled" by lust. The monk says that once lust is "eliminated," the mind becomes "messy," and that once the mind is freed from lust, "the mind, yes, i am." He says he'll go look for the scroll in the library of liansheng tianzhu, the master of the moon palace.
