About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the protagonist chose to be chosen as an immortal in the "superpowers" of the universe. He feels that this is pointless, since the universe will grow back just as soon as he destroys it. The protagonist feels that he has been chosen to be an immortal because he is a hero, and that he will be able to protect the universe from evil. He asks the protagonist to stay close to him and not move, and the protagonist tells him not to worry, as the "taoist amulet" can only protect against directed attacks. He also tells the protagonist that he is far worse than a "sclass hero" because he has no talent for cultivating his own immortal body. He tells him that he should learn to cultivate his own body so that he can be immortal with him. He says that if the protagonist allows him to enter his body and guide him in his quest to cultivate immortal body, he can prove that the "cultivator" is as powerful as the protagonist claims. He then tells him more about the benefits of cultivating immortals, such as the ability to live for thousands of years, and to form all sorts of elements from thin air.
