About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that in the mid-1960s, 50,000 South korean soldiers were sent to fight in the war in Indochina. In 1972, during the second Indochina war, a South Korean military unit of nine men mysteriously vanished. For the next six months, the South korean military headquarters received distress signals from these missing men. In the same year, the war was suffering from mental distress and the South Korean government committed the missing men to an asylum. Evans died on November 27th, 2003. In the meantime, he has written several war-themed books, and he's hoping that he can write another one that will sell as well as the first one. Evans says that he'll be leaving for a meeting soon, so he wants to hear more about his new book.
