This chapter opens with a flashback to the previous chapter, in which we learn that jiu jiang and xi chuan are lovers. Coincidentally, this is also the time when xi's employer, the boss of the moondust aquarium, is also in the middle of a scandal. Worried about her boss's safety, xi searches through her closet for her lost phone. She finds it in the closet, and she wonders if jiu-jiang is really xi-chuan's husband. She also wonders if the couple is really a couple, or if they're just friends. Unsure of what to do, she decides to go see the dolphin performance at the aquarium.
