In this chapter, the mermaid wears a mermaid's dress, and a bat appears to be the person who woke her up. The mermaid tells the bat that he is responsible for waking her up, and that he will do his best to help her return to the "sea fragments city" if she is not able to do so. The bat tells the mermaid that rumors have spread about the phantom thief who stole their items, and he hopes that the "gothic-themed" dresses will be a hit with the public. When the mermaid asks if he can go home alone, the bat tells her that he has made some snacks for her and will visit her later on.
