In this chapter, we learn that we're introduced to a new character, a mermaid named Lilith. We learn that she's a mermaid who lives on a small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. She's got a special set of tools that she uses to help her find her way around the island, including a special pen that's supposed to change the shape of her clothes. Lilith tells us that the pen is magical, and that it makes her drawings look alive. She says that if you use the pen on her clothes, you'll be able to transform them into mermaids.
