It's spring, which means it's time for the girls to get ready for bed. They've made a giant case for the cat, which makes the cat feel like he's been cooped up all winter. The girls are psyched, since they've always been sad when the cat doesn't come out of its hiding place. One of the girls asks if she can read mineral lifeform, but the other girls can't, so they'll have to do it on their own. They decide to have a little birthday party, since none of them were able to sleep all that much during the winter. They all agree to go out and have a good time.
