In this chapter, we learn that euclase has been hiding his identity from the rest of the crew. He tells them that he's sorry, but he can't forgive them for betraying him. He suggests that they start working together as equals, so that they can make up for their past mistakes. He's not sure if this is the right idea, but it's better than Phos's. He asks if they'd like to wait a moment before making a decision, but they'll have to wait until the time is right. He apologizes for being such a jerk, and says he'll try his best to be a good co-worker.
