Now that he's back on the lunar surface, Phos returns to the Underground Man's cabin. He's pretty excited to be back. The Underground Man asks him if he remembers anything from the moon, and he says he does, but he can't remember anything. He wants to go back to the surface and see what's going on. He says he'll try to remember anything that can help him, and that's all he can think about. If he can remember anything, he can tell him right away. He tells Phos that he came back and that means he has hope for the rest of the crew, too. He also says he wants to talk to the diamond family one more time, even if they don't return.
