The next morning, the Governess wonders if there's someone on the trail who gave her the head of Lapis. She's not sure if it's another one of her and Phoebe's heads, but she's pretty sure it is. The Governess wants to know what happened to her when she went to the sea 102 years ago, and the only thing she knows is that she lost her legs and was dimwitted.
