About This Chapter
The witch explains that the only thing she can do to break the curse is to use a magical flower called "shelter rain" that grows on a cliffside in France. The only way to get shelter rain is to go to France and cook up the potion there. But there are only a few witches who can do this kind of magic, so she'll have to wait a few years before she can use it. She'll go to the south pole, where there's a lot of ice, and use the ice to make the potion. Then she's going to use the frozen brains of a guy who used to live there. The guy is still alive, though, and he's wearing the same clothes he wore when he first came to the South Pole. He's still hanging around, though. The witch says that she has no regrets about the whole thing, even though it's hard for her to believe that she can still exist.
