About This Chapter
In this chapter, we are introduced to a number of new characters, including a red blood cell, an oxygen-carrying white blood cell and a red-blood cell that has been sucked into a giant pipe. The red blood cells are concerned about their dwindling supply of blood, and they rush to the aid of the white blood cells, who are carrying oxygen to their dying comrades. They are shocked to find that they are surrounded by a swarm of red-coated men, who have been waiting for them at the scene of the crime. As they rush toward the scene, the red-suited men are able to distribute oxygen to the entire body in a matter of seconds. The white-suited soldiers are so impressed by the speed with which they have distributed the oxygen that they do not hesitate to tell the rest of the gang about it.
