In this chapter, we learn that the gauna has been placed on the surface of the ship, and that it has formed an emitter to shut down the ship's engines. The guys are freaking out because they don't know what's going on. They've got to figure out a way to stop the guy from getting into the ship. Oh, and they've also got an explosion going on in the area, so they need to get the heck out of there ASAP. They can't figure out what the heck is going on, but there's one thing they can figure out: the guy has a special organ inside his head, and he's using it to control his graviton emitter. The guy's got a lot of work to do, but he'll figure it out.
