He refuses, saying that the bus is only two stops away from his station and that he would not mind giving up his seat if the woman were his "b*tch." The protagonist, however, feels that the woman is a stranger and cannot be trusted, so he leaves the woman at the front of the bus. He tells the woman that he has bought her a dress for her to wear to Luo's birthday party the next day.
