When Zev returns from his summer vacation, he asks what he should do when Xingxing comes to pick him up. Zev tells him that he should go back to his room and give him the notes. He then tells Zev that he will go to his office and give the notes back to him. When he hears this, Zev realizes that he has actually thought about giving the notes to Zev for a while. He asks Zev to accept his love, and Zev says that he does not know what to do. He wonders if there is someone who just cannot understand the lessons. He is shocked to find out that Zev did poorly in the pre exam quiz, and that he is planning to fail the final exam. He also asks if Zev plans to give him a zero on the exam when he is away during the summer vacation. He says that the kid did not tell him that, and then asks if he is still listening.
