Lin tells us that she's in love with Si nan, and that she wants to marry him. She's also excited to be going to school with him, because he's so popular with girls. She asks about Mr. Guo, the new math teacher, and finds out that he won a lottery prize and his family has gone abroad. Lin is worried about the new teacher, but he promises to give her extra homework tonight so that she can finish the assignment. He also tells her that he doesn't like "troublesome brats," and that he'll take over the math class from now on, so she can do whatever she wants with it. He's right, she says, and she'll be the one to teach him.
