About This Chapter
In this short scene, Agamemnon tells the Parsians that he will kill them all if they don't accept the duel. He also tells them that he knows where Teta Elam is hiding and that he can't stop them from killing her. He tells them to open the door, face him, and tell him that he has a challenge from the King of Spain to a duel. If he bests him in the duel, the Romans will return all of the treasure they took from Spain and leave him with nothing. He then asks them if they're going to leave the capital before he passes through, and if they are going to attack before he gets there. He says that he's leaving his capital to later take it back with a big army. He asks if they will honor their word not to attack until the King is safe, and then he'll destroy their army with a huge battle array
