About This Chapter
The Parsians have captured the prisoners, and the Parsian leader praises the prisoners for their bravery. He tells them that they are no match for their army, and that they should smack one of the prisoners so that he will know that he cannot disobey them. He also tells them to hurry up and finish the washing of their hands, as their master will be angry if they do not do so. He then tells the prisoners that he has never seen so many people in one place, and wonders how they can live in such prosperity. He asks the prisoners to come back to rescue him, but they refuse, saying that they cannot be tamed.
