In this chapter, Oboro sama explains that he has to get between the two of them with his own magical vision. He tells us that the only way that he can stop the wind of the blade is to look into the eyes of the other ninja and break their spell of vision. Oboro then tells us about the wounds that have been inflicted on the other ten ninja. Out of those ten, rousai, koshirou, and ogen-sama are the most likely to have been killed. The other ten are the only ones who have not been killed, and they have been waiting for the day when they can kill the other nine ninja. They ask Oboro if he will swear to them that he is with them and that he will die by their hand. He refuses, saying that he was born with powerful eyes, but he has not yet perfected any single ninja technique. He says that he fears that one day, his eyes will destroy all the ninja techniques. He then gives us a seven-day potion that will seal his eyes shut for seven days.
