In this chapter, we learn that Hiroshi and his classmates from class b are part of a search party looking for Hiroshi at the festival. Hiroshi has missed his summer vacation with his friend, and he asks if they switched the meaning of meeting halfway from "getting full of yourself" to "meeting half-way" while he was not paying attention. He also learns that the festival will be held in the third year of his high school career.
